Dairy Queen and UPDATE

We were in Jackson a few weeks ago and went to a Miskelly's Furniture. It huge and is as much of a play place as it is a furniture store. It has a carousel, a small indoor basketball court and a home theater where Kaylee watched a little Disney.

A lot has happened in 3 weeks! We have a contract for the sale of our house after 3 weeks on the market. We are praying nothing falls through. We also found out that our place at French Camp will probably not be ready until sometime in August now. Our closing date, Lord willing, will be on or before August 7th with 7 days to vacate after the closing date. August 7th is also the second day of school at FCA. We are trying not to worry too much and focus on what has to be done between now and then but the fact is we may be homeless for a couple of weeks. The Lord has provided for us abundantly through the years and I have no doubt he will see us through this difficult transition time. Kaylee is very excited especially since we are slowly starting to put things in boxes now. She HAD to pack her books today. I guess she is like her Mom. It makes her feel like something is getting done. The home inspector came today and John is scared to death he is going to have a list of major issues. That should really be our only hang up considering the buyer is pre-qualified for his loan. Please say a few extra prayers on our behalf throughout the next month!
