I'll Sleep Anywhere

Not sure how this came about but his sister was home from school so that is enough said.

Tyler is TWO!

We were so blessed to have a group from the Kosciusko church come to French Camp and eat at the Council House Cafe with us for Tyler's birthday.

Kaylee and Gracie together again!

It was a beautiful day.

We did things a little backwards. We opened presents before lunch and cupcakes. Tyler has no problem knowing what to do with presents these days.
Lunch: Peanut Better and Jelly
Happy Birthday Tyler. I knew better than to put the lit candle on his tray.
He didn't have any problems with the cupcake either.

Kaylee's Pre-K Play and Graduation

Kaylee's play was called E-I-E-I-OOPS. It was a about a cow who lost her MOO.

She was a "cute chick."

Tyler intently watching. He sang along with Kaylee's "cute chick" part. She had practiced so much at home he learned the part along with her.

She danced her cute chick part like a pro! Her speaking part was "If we can't solve this problem there is one thing left to do. We sang our hearts out for you cow, now it is all up to you."

Taking a bow.

Kaylee getting her Pre-K certificate from her teacher! Kindergarten here we come!

One afternoon at French Camp Academy

It is amazing what you can do with a big piece of plastic and a waterhose. The dorm next door made a waterslide down the hill today. It was unusually chilly today but that didn't stop these girls. Kaylee did it a couple of times just to say she did. She wasn't to sure if she liked it because it did have you going pretty fast. They were adding dish soap to the plastic to help with the speed. She was to cold to really enjoy.

Tyler looking on. He has been fighting allergies pretty bad so I didn't let him get involved. There were also way to many crazy bodies coming down the slide for him.

T-Ball 2010

We are playing in a different league this year. It is hard because French Camp doesn't have a league so we have to go to Ackerman or Kosciusko. Ackerman is a little closer and everyone else from here goes to Ackerman so that is where we went. Kaylee does well hitting the ball. Isn't quite aggressive enough or sure of herself to charge after the ball in the outfield. She has made a few stops though. I think she just likes her uniform the best.

On our way to the first game of the season.

Tyler's idea of T-ball.

Tyler and Granny

Tyler pulling weeds.... I guess... while we are waiting for Granny to come.

Tyler's face when we saw Granny driving up.

He loves his Granny and so does Kaylee. She gets mad when I call her my Granny.

Junior/Senior Banquet 2010

Kim Benoit-Senior from Ellisville, MS

Whitney Muhammad-Senoir from Brooklyn, NY (Hopefully going to college in North Mississippi so we can stay connected)
Bangali Sillah-Junior from Africa via Memphis, TN and Malcolm (don't know a whole lot)
Demetric Ware-Junior from Starkville, MS
Sierra Hughes-Senior from Memphis, TN

John and I attended the Junior/Senior Banquet a couple of weeks ago. It was orginally scheduled for the day the tornado came through but we were out of power for a day and a half so we had it Sunday night. It went very nicely in the midst of all the chaos. John and I had our pictures made, with just the two of us, which was the first time since our wedding I think. I still haven't figured out how to emotionally handle letting these kids, who have pieces of my heart, go every year.

Ayden Watkins

This is Aidan. He was adopted by a couple from Michigan who moved here this past summer to be dorm parents for a girls dorm. One of the girls in the dorm brings him over to play with Tyler about once a week. He is so cute and so much fun. I am glad he has started walking because before when he would come over Tyler would get down and crawl around like him. They are probably going to start the adoption process again sometime in January.
