Happy New Year to everyone!!! I'm not one for New Year Resolutions but there are a lot of things I am going to try to do differently or better than last year. As a mother, most of you know how easy it is to let your spiritual life go by the wayside. I am reminded of the verse "Seek ye First the kingdom...." If my relationship to God is were it needs to be than everything else will be as well.
John and I brought in the New Year the same way we always do, by sleeping. Although, this year we woke up at midnight to someone walking around our neighborhood throwing firecrackers in people's driveways and under their carports. Kaylee shot fireworks at Granny's house on Monday night and a few on Tuesday night. We had a devotional at church on Wednesday night.
Tyler is much better now but was suffering from an ulcer on one side of his top gums. He was up for 3 nights straight screaming. The doctor thinks it was caused by some trauma to his gums. He is teething, if you couldn't tell from all the drool, so he could have chewed to hard or wrong on something. He is also getting mobile so he could have bumped his mouth on something. He is still in discomfort from the teething but his gums look a whole lot better.
