I know what you were thinking and NO IT IS NOT A BABY! We brought my Mom's dog home with us after the funeral last Friday. Kaylee is really excited. She keeps saying my dog this and my dog that. He is almost 2 years old so he is out of the initial puppy phase. He is a chihuahua but so far he isn't your typical one. He doesn't bark hardly at all and is really good with the kids. He has learned to run from Tyler! He does what he is told for the most part but definitely needs some basic commands training. Kaylee ask me last night, "Mommy, we can't see Gran Dan anymore right?" I told her not here we can't. Then she said, "But I know she wants to come check on JB (the dog)." Breaks my heart. Kaylee was very upset when I had to tell her about my Mom. I held her crying for at least 10 minutes. I think the dog helps us hold on to a little piece of my Mom because she loved him so. Thanks to everyone for your thoughts, prayers and outpourings of love during this difficult time.

I am so sorry you are going through this. I did however almost fall out of my chair when keith said you had a dog! I am so glad that you have him and feel like it's a part of your mom there with you! I love you and will talk to you soon!
