John had a Boys Varsity v/s Staff basketball game Friday night as a fundraiser for the program. It was very interesting to say the least. The students won by 3 points. The kids had a good time joking and making fun of their coaches, dorm parents and the other staff members who played.

The guy dribbling and shooting free throws has Down Syndrome. His name is Bruce. He and his parents were part of a group that travels around doing volunteer work for places like French Camp, churches and other charities. While they were in the area this past summer his father suddenly passed away. He and his mother have since stayed at French Camp and have become a big asset. The kids interact well with Bruce and he loves sports. He was a part of the staff's team.
