Harvest Festival

Saturday was the Harvest Festival at French Camp. They had a civil war reenactment and all of the historical buildings were open for viewing. Kaylee rode a horse at one of the horse barns on campus. Tyler slept in his stroller for a little while. It was neat to watch them make the sorghum molasses like they did years ago. They used horses to squeeze the sugar out of the cane and then heated it over a pit of some sort.
